Together in Between is a co-op first-person puzzle adventure game. You and your partner find yourselves trapped inside a magical book, occupying the same space but in different dimensions: one in the white dimension while the other one is in the black dimension. You cannot see each other but hear each other's voices. Your goal is to progress and explore by solving puzzles together.
As you look around, you realize that you are in a library, but the air is getting heavier. You feel a weight on your shoulders as a Wizard-King floats towards you and utters the following words: "So, you are the new victims. If you wish to escape from here, you must overcome the obstacles and bring me the Dimensia book. It won't be as easy as you think. Be cautious with every step you take! If you don't trust each other, your fate will be the same as the others... If you can bring me the book, you can escape from here." After finishing his speech, the sorcerer suddenly disappears.
