    About The Lies We Tell Ourselves

    The Lies We Tell Ourselves is a first person psychological adventure game with light horror elements and a focus on subtle storytelling and atmosphere.

    BACKSTORY
    Vincent Arno is a young man who still conveniently lives with his parents: he has no expenses, no responsibilities and no ambition whatsoever to leave and make a life of his own.
    Having dropped out of high school at the age of 15, Vincent keeps on comfortably getting by with doing the bare minimum in the family business, while spending all his earnings on meaningless items and evenings with friends.
    Indifferent to the kind of person he has become, he blames his lack of accomplishments on anything but himself, but deep within he doesn't really care.

    And yet... Vincent sees himself as a good guy, unaware that doing the right thing takes way more than just not doing the wrong thing.
