Trade Bots is an innovative new educational simulation game where the player is given an unknown stock, ETF or cryptocurrency at a random time in the past, and challenged to buy and sell the asset using only technical analysis concepts learned along the way. By appreciating the fundamentals for how to trade based solely on patterns and technical indicators, the player can gradually unlock various upgrades that help to expedite and automate trading. The project essentially gamifies a process known as "backtesting" in economics, where a trading strategy is simulated against historic data.
