Taiki is your average guy. He’s nineteen years old, in his first year of university, and he’s just starting to learn what it means to be an adult.
During the summer vacation, Taiki goes to the countryside to stay with his grandparents, as as does his siblings: the haughty, fashionable Chiharu; the troublemaker with a love of all things gothic, Nene; and the sweet, shy Reza.
Taiki hopes, during the summer, he’ll have a chance to relax after spending several months studying – but it’s not to be. A game of hide-and-seek goes badly awry when Nene, the miscreant that she is, slinks off into their grandfather’s study, which is strictly out of bounds.
Inside their grandfather’s shadowy study, Nene finds a treasure trove of dusty old books about all sorts of eerie, arcane subjects, including a tome full of instructions on how to summon demons from another realm.
