Curse of the Deadwood is an action-packed twin-stick shooter set in the quirky land of Knottington. It tells the story of an ancient spell broken, a wicked menace reawakened, and a young Woodling named Lathe who vows to do whatever he must to save his beloved home of Knottington. But he doesn’t embark on this fantastical journey alone! Lathe’s enormous stone companion named Roguard will aid him on his quest.
The gameplay in Lathe and Roguard is a unique evolution of the twin-stick genre. Lathe, who stands atop Roguard’s broad shoulders, is adept at using ranged weapons; Roguard moves the pair through the world and uses his mighty strength to perform devastating melee attacks.
