Blacken Slash is a tactical RPG without a character, where the items are king. They grant you skills and stats – and some even add or change gameplay mechanics.
In normal mode, you can carry on some of your items for future runs if you die – unless you didn't get enough archive keys in time. In ladder mode you start from scratch each week and compete with other players in an online leaderboard where you can see their progress and the builds they're using.
Because the levels and the game loop is very short, this game is perfect for a coffee break; but its effortless flow and tons of content also allow you to deep dive for days trying out various playsty...
