Between horror and survivalScent of greed is a survival horror game. You will need to manage resources and choose which quests and challenges to complete as they are tightly coupled with survival mechanics. Gameplay is story driven but is not linear.
You will explore a small open world consisting of a village, surrounding environment and hidden locations. You will be choosing between just staying alive and discovering the story that may bring a closer ending.
There's a sanity system in game with paranormal events and jump scares affecting it and ways for restoring it by the player. There're quests and puzzles and solving them may result in an increase or decrease in the frequency of paranormal events. There are locations where the player may find shelter to sleep, recover and hide from all the danger.
