In the game, players assume roles within the
S.S.O (Search and Support Organization) security sector, tasked with locating survivors in multiple dilapidated outposts that have lost connections for unknown reasons.
These outposts used to be a safe haven in the Backrooms, but due to unknown reasons, they lost connection with anywhere else.
