Atomanta
is a retro-styled vertical shoot 'em-up inspired by various Mega Drive and arcade titles from the '90s. In this game, you step into the role of Taria Takara, a space pirate on a mission to recover a highly valuable artifact hidden on the planet Azavuraz. Armed with the powerful Atomic Manta warship, Taria finally has a chance to claim the bounty and pay off the debts from her previous handlers.
Gameplay
Atomanta consists of 8 stages that challenge the player by gradually turning up the difficulty to the point of becoming a bullet hell. The game is focused on combining elements from old-school shmups with some modern improvements such as a tiny glowing hitbox, higher mobility, a focus fire that is attached to the main weapon, and no inertia.
